Founded in 1980, the Xu family's tea business has spanned three generations. Their tea cultivation has earned prestigious honors, including the 'Ten Outstanding Young Farmers' award and the 'Shennong Award,' marking a legendary journey of hard work in Ruili.
Ming Yuan 'Tea San Dai' selects premium teas nurtured in the Alishan region, returning to the green belt at 23.5 degrees north latitude. The misty environment, significant temperature fluctuations, and short sunlight hours reduce the bitterness of catechins, resulting in tender buds rich in pectin. Each hand-picked 'one bud, two leaves' displays a translucent emerald green, infused with natural tea fragrance. Each single-origin tea has its own story, from cultivation to harvest and production. With every sip, as you savor the layered mountain tea notes from the initial to the lingering finish, it is as if you are experiencing the profound and sweet seasons of life, mirroring the sunrise and sunset of Alishan.

- Hand-Rolling Tea Experience (Available for 1-4 people)
After the tea master explains the hand-rolling process, you will use the strength of your palms to roll the leaves to bring out the mellow flavor of high-quality tea. Every detail, from the aroma and texture to the appearance, is crucial. After resting for full fermentation, the tea master will assist with any necessary adjustments or de-clumping. Once baked and completely dried, you will package your very own handmade honey-scented black tea.

Put on your tea basket and bamboo hat, and follow the tea estate owner into the tea garden to listen to a guided tour and learn about the tea leaves before experiencing the tea picking process yourself. The tea master will carefully explain the hand-rolling process, guiding you to use your palms to roll the leaves to enhance their aroma, texture, and appearance. After full fermentation, the tea master will assist in processing the leaves, and after baking and drying, you will create your own handmade honey-scented black tea, filled with mellow flavors and exclusive memories.

Children under 6 years old are free of charge and can participate with their parents. (Except for paid facilities).

When participating in outdoor experiences, please wear long-sleeved clothes, apply mosquito repellent, and wear light shoes to ensure comfort and safety.
The experience itinerary will be flexibly adjusted in time and procedures according to the current situation. Mingyuan Tea Sandai reserves the right to modify and change the course.

Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations 4 day(s) (inclusive) before the selected date are allowed. Unused orders can be canceled for free
- Cancellation is not allowed between 0–3 days from the selected date. Orders cannot be canceled or modified, and refunds will not be granted.
- Due to time zone differences, the confirmed cancellation date is based on the supplier’s local time. Please allow 2–5 business days to process your cancellation request, after which the cancellation fee will be charged according to the product’s cancellation policy. Once your refund request is confirmed, KKday will initiate the refund to your original payment method within 15 days. The actual refund timing depends on your card-issuing bank’s policy.
