This trip to Amanohashidate was with family and friends. Aside from our group of 10, everyone else in the group was from Europe and America! The quality of the trip immediately improved. Seagulls and eagles swooped down from the sky at Ine Bay to peck at shrimp (yes, the same kind of shrimp you see in Taiwan), honestly, it was a little scary! I was super afraid they'd peck my chubby hand! The swing chairs at Amanohashidate were truly breathtaking. It was a pity the autumn leaves weren't red yet; all I could see were green leaves. But seeing the pine trees forming a dragon-like canopy on the way down was truly beautiful! Our tour leader, Oscar, is from a religious background, so her explanations of the history and origins of the attractions were extremely clear—I learned a lot! Although the journey was long, joining a KKDay tour was really convenient! Of course, I did tip for the excellent service!
Many thanks to our tour guide, Mr. Gu Wenji, for leading the way and providing such professional commentary. We experienced the beautiful scenery of Amanohashidate and Ineshuya, and the boat trip to feed the seagulls was very fun! But be careful of seagull droppings though 🤣 The most convenient thing is that you can freely choose your pick-up and drop-off points and bring one piece of luggage for free. I highly recommend booking this tour!
This day trip to Amanohashidate and Ine Funaya in Kyoto was absolutely fantastic value! The itinerary was rich and fulfilling, with ample time to relax and explore each attraction. Our guide, Mr. Liao, was incredibly kind and attentive, even adjusting his speaking speed to suit everyone's pace. Amanohashidate was breathtakingly beautiful, and the highlight was riding the Tango Maritime Railway – traveling on the sea felt like stepping into the animated world of Spirited Away! Highly recommended!
For traveling with elders, this is indeed a good choice for visiting more remote tourist attractions in Japan; the half-crab seafood meal was quite good, and the itinerary time was well-managed. My favorite part was the Ine Bay boat trip feeding the seagulls, even though the tour guide was very good at taking photos. Highly recommended!
Our tour guide, Mr. Shen Wanping, was very dedicated to providing excellent explanations throughout the trip and shared many of his life experiences. The whole journey was very enjoyable, especially the seagull-themed boat ride, which was truly fascinating. The scenery at Amanohashidate was beautiful, and the pudding was delicious. I'd love to bring my elders here next time!
