Yamagata City

Although it was a shared tour without a guide, the driver was very friendly, the ride was smooth, and the time was well managed. The Fox Village and Zao Snow Tree cable car trip was interesting and the scenery was beautiful and spectacular; however, in winter, you need to wear enough warm clothing and hats to visit Zao Snow Tree.

Lunch was simple yet plentiful, and the arrangements were quick and efficient, requiring no waiting, especially considering there were over 30 people in our group. The restaurant was spacious, and our tour guide thoughtfully reminded us of important details! The tour bus was spacious, comfortable, and clean! I've participated in many KKday Japan one-day tours, and each one has never disappointed me! 👍👍👍

The nighttime at Ginzan Onsen is completely different from the daytime, truly resembling a scene from Spirited Away. It's incredibly beautiful! Although the warm currents of the past few days melted most of the snow, the night view is still enchanting. However, some shops gradually close or have already closed in the evening, so you really have to be mindful of the time, otherwise you won't be able to buy local specialties or souvenirs. Luckily, I joined both daytime and nighttime tours, allowing us to leisurely stroll through the streets of Ginzan Onsen 😋 Also, I originally joined the Saisōji + Ginzan night tour, but due to insufficient participants, I changed it to the Ginzan night tour a week before departure. It wasn't until the night before departure that I discovered the meeting point wasn't in Sendai, but in Yamagata. But this gave us the experience of taking a highway bus. Another thing was reuniting with the professional and beautiful Ms. Ito. At Yamagata Station, looking at her back, I thought, "What a coincidence, is she the beautiful tour guide from yesterday?!" Turning around, I was indeed greeted with a warm greeting, and we interacted happily and with a touch of surprise, like bumping into an old friend.

The tour guide was very good and attentive. I would definitely go again if I had the chance. Thank you everyone.

Our guide, Ashley, was very attentive and responsible, and the whole trip was a great experience. It was really cold at the summit; it was my first time experiencing blizzard-level winds. The views from the cable car were spectacular and definitely worth trying.

Our tour guide, Mr. Li, was incredibly kind and attentive. Even in the heavy snow, he drove very steadily 👍, and the itinerary was excellently planned. I was so happy to encounter snow at the mountain temple, Tendo Onsen, and Ginzan Onsen ☃️. Mr. Li constantly reminded us to be careful of the slippery stone steps in the snow 😄. Thank you, Mr. Li, for the delicious food recommendations! 😋😋
