Shirokane Hot Spring has different styles throughout the year. Spring and summer are suitable for nature walks and photography, autumn is maple viewing season, and winter has a unique charm, suitable for snow viewing and skiing.

Shirogane Falls and Green Pond are the two major attractions in the Shirokane Hot Spring area. Shirakushi Falls is a waterfall formed by seepage of groundwater and flowing into a stream. When covered with ice and snow in winter, it adds to the fairyland-like beauty. Although the lake is frozen, Aoike also has a special night light show.
