This time, I wanted to visit Mount Aso but didn't want to travel there myself, so I decided to buy a tour package and take the Aso Boy train back to Kumamoto. The tour guide had added me on the day before to remind me of the meeting point. On the bus, I discovered it was a group of Chinese, Japanese, and Korean tourists, and the guide could communicate flawlessly in all three languages – truly amazing! She explained many details during the trip; I definitely wouldn't have known that if I had gone on my own. She even booked me a great seat on the Aso Boy train for the return trip. I highly recommend this tour! 😍😍😍 PS. The tour guide was incredible! Please give her a raise! 🤭🤭
1. The Aso sightseeing bus stops at Sakuramachi Bus Terminal, and also at Kumamoto Airport and Aso Station, which is very convenient. 2. There is ample time to visit attractions: Daikanbo, Aso Shrine, and Kusasenrihama. However, due to the recent helicopter accident at Mount Aso, it was unfortunately impossible to go up to the Nakadake crater! 3. The staff on board clearly explained the meeting time and location and recommended restaurants at each location, which was very helpful to travelers. 4. Seating was not freely selectable, which was a bit of a shame. Usually, bus day trips allow first-come, first-served seating, but this time our whole family was assigned to the last row, with a poor view...
Our tour guide, Sun Peng, was very humorous, making everyone on the bus very happy. He was very attentive in explaining the locations. He's even an excellent photographer 😊 He made our family have a wonderful day trip to Asu. We would definitely book a day trip with him again! 👍😌
The weather was great, and the views of Mount Aso and Takachiho while boating were truly beautiful. Plus, our professional guide, Jimmy Yanagi, was witty and humorous. Highly recommended!
