I joined two different tour groups for two consecutive days, and the service from Xiao Tan and Xiao Shi was excellent. If you don't want to spend time scrambling for train tickets and planning your itinerary, I highly recommend this tour. The schedule is tight, but the stops are all at the best spots. Be prepared for long drive times. The Aso volcano crater is currently closed to the public.
For tourists visiting Fukuoka, Mount Aso and Kusanagi are must-sees, but transportation to these areas is quite inconvenient. Therefore, I recommend buying a package tour so you can sleep on the bus without worrying about not having a seat on the subway, transferring, or missing your stop. This time, the scenery in Kusanagi was different from the lush greenery of summer; it was a withered yellow mixed with the blackish-gray of scorched mountains, but it was still very beautiful and spectacular. I would also like to give a special thank you to our tour guide, Lili Zheng, for her detailed explanations and for taking such good care of the passengers like children!
The tour guide was very patient. Although we encountered the annual mountain burning event, the flexible arrangements for the attractions made for a great overall experience. I would recommend the trip.
We're a Korean couple in our 70s. We were a little worried about finding our way to a new destination without a guide. However, following the directions on the voucher they sent us, it wasn't difficult. In fact, it was fun. We went to the restaurant they provided for lunch, and the view was amazing. We could see the entire Kusasenri at a glance. The atmosphere was classy, and the food was delicious. Of course, we walked along the Kusasenri streets. Along the way, we met and talked to a Dutch person and an elderly Japanese couple, and it will be an unforgettable memory, along with the scenery of Mount Aso. And I think this trip was truly cost-effective. The price was very reasonable. Thank you.
