I was disappointed that there was no tour that only went to the three major temples of Kinkaku-ji, Ginkaku-ji, and Kiyomizu-dera, but this product was the only bus tour that was perfect!! Thanks to this, I had a fulfilling trip. The only thing that was said to have Korean audio support was that they guided us through a walkie-talkie, but Korean audio support wasn't available ㅋㅋㅋ Only English and Chinese were available ㅎㅎ Usually, on bus tours, you have to follow the guide's instructions, but on this tour, there was no such thing, so I was able to freely wander around and explore, which was nice ㅎㅎ
I live in Tainan, Taiwan, and am 72 years old. My wife and I, an elderly couple, were traveling independently. We are farmers and booked this tour online on a whim. We visited Kinkaku-ji (Golden Pavilion) and Arashiyama, places I had visited 30 years ago. 1. Differences: This trip was crowded, lacking the quality of a relaxing vacation. 2. Advantages: We saw people from different countries and experienced different cultures. It was a group tour, and although the members came from different countries (Taiwanese people only made up 10%), everyone was punctual for the agreed pick-up and drop-off times, which was reassuring. 3. Uploaded videos of the autumn foliage.
Since seating wasn't pre-assigned, some families or couples might be separated. In my previous tour, seating was pre-assigned to avoid everyone being rushed. The activities were quite fun, although the earlier parts of the itinerary were a bit rushed later. Overall, it was pretty good. 👍
