The most recommended way to reach Ine Town is by taking a train from Kyoto Station or Osaka Station to 'Amanohashidate Station' or 'Miyazu Station', then transferring to the Tango Kairiku Kotsu Bus 'Ine-Kainyu Line'. The journey takes about 60 minutes. Alternatively, you can take the Tango Kairiku Kotsu Highway Bus directly from Kyoto Station to Amanohashidate Station and then transfer to the Tango Kairiku Kotsu Bus.

Ine Town offers different scenery throughout the year. Spring (March-May) allows you to enjoy the beauty of cherry blossoms adorning the Funaya, ideal for walks and photography. Summer (June-August) boasts clear blue skies and pleasant weather, perfect for boat rides and seaside strolls. Autumn (September-November) features maple leaves reflecting on the Funaya and the sea, ideal for staying in a guesthouse and enjoying the autumn colors. Winter (December-February) offers picturesque snow-covered harbor scenes, and the seafood is at its most delicious, with warm fisherman's hot pot dishes recommended.
