I came to the park knowing only the names of the main characters, but I enjoyed it more than I expected. There were many surprises that I didn't know, and they also explained the story to a certain extent, so unless you're extremely ignorant, you'll have no problem. I prioritized the theater show, night show, and fireworks, so there are a few facilities that I wasn't able to experience, but I was still satisfied. Greetings are up to luck, so I wasn't able to take photos with the character I wanted, but they came close during the show, so I was able to take lots of photos and videos of them individually. The prices for food and merchandise are theme park prices, but they're not too expensive and I think they're reasonable. I guess this is the reason for the negative reviews after actually going there, or rather, the low reviews? What I thought was that it's a place to enjoy the atmosphere like Sanrio Puroland, so if you go there expecting a theme park like Disney or Universal Studios Japan, it might be a bit disappointing. As with all outdoor areas, if the weather isn't good, you won't be able to enjoy the scenery outside and you might have to go home without experiencing the park's great features. There are plenty of places for children to enjoy, and there are plenty of places to rest if it's not too crowded, but... it feels more geared towards adults. Access isn't exactly great, so depending on your means of transportation or where you live, some people might not be able to enjoy it to the end and have to go home (this might be even more difficult in winter, when it gets dark early). Fortunately, the weather was good and it was the autumn foliage season, so we were able to enjoy the beautiful scenery, but there are some things that you can't control just by how you enjoy it, so people's opinions will probably vary... Personally, I would recommend this place, but I think who you go with and the time of year are very important, so it's important to do your research beforehand.
