I rarely take day tours, but many places in Australia aren't accessible by public transport, so this was my first day tour during my entire trip, and it was a fantastic experience! 👍🏻 I received the itinerary information the day before, and on the day of the tour, our driver and guide, William Yuan, provided detailed explanations, offered many helpful tips and the latest information, and drove very smoothly. The entire tour was well-paced, though the wait for the penguins to return to their nests was quite long. However, if you arrived a little late, the best spots would be taken. I highly recommend upgrading to the viewing platform! The regular viewing platform is quite far from where the penguins land, and although it's a bit pricey, my mom and I felt it was absolutely worth it. The price difference between the indoor and outdoor upgrades isn't much, and if you buy the indoor upgrade, you can easily go outside after watching the indoor viewing. If your budget allows, go for the indoor upgrade (but definitely buy the indoor upgrade in autumn and winter! It gets really cold outside for an hour). I would definitely take another day tour organized by this travel agency next time I have the chance.
