This adventure offers you the opportunity to take a snowmobile for a quick spin and master the art of driving these fascinating vehicles. 

You will be driving across the frozen Arctic nature, accompanied by an experienced guide, enjoying the magical winter landscapes of Lapland. During the safari, we stop for a short break to enjoy a hot drink and experience the silence of the vast and beautiful Rovaniemi wilderness. It is a perfect moment to take some photos for the memory. Then we head back to the town.

  • Know Before You Go: The main meeting place is Safartica Office (Koskikatu 9), 25 minutes before the activity. If you require a different pick-up location, please specify it when booking. We will confirm your meeting time by email accordingly

  • Know Before You Go: Missing the meeting time or location will result in a missed safari, which will not be refunded

  • Know Before You Go: The driving time is approx. 1–1.5 hours. Driving speed will depend on weather conditions and driving skills of the participants.

  • Know Before You Go: 2 persons share one snowmobile.

  • Know Before You Go: Drivers must be 18 or older and hold a valid driving license.

  • Know Before You Go: Not suitable for infants 0-3 years old. Children 4-14 years old are seated in a sledge behind the guide’s snowmobile.

  • Know Before You Go: Not recommended for pregnant women and people with fragile musculoskeletal system.

  • Know Before You Go: The driver is liable for damages up to 990€/accident. A completely optional insurance of 20€ lowers the liability to 150€ and can be purchased on the spot before the tour.
