Chasing the aurora requires a bit of luck, but our guide diligently checked the forecast for us. Although there were aurora sightings ahead, we were still hoping to witness the dancing aurora. The guides stayed with us until very late, and just before we were about to leave, they excitedly let us get off the bus to see the most beautiful and spectacular aurora—the dancing aurora—appeared right before our eyes! It was truly beautiful and we were very lucky. The pick-up and drop-off service was also excellent. Although it ended very late, we didn't have to walk 40 minutes back to our accommodation, which was fantastic. The guide, who was also our driver, was a very skilled and safe driver, very professional. He used his flashlights, turn signals when overtaking, and drove steadily without wobbling. Knowing I was traveling alone, the guide also kindly helped me take photos. 👍 They even provided professional photography equipment, which was very helpful. I look forward to receiving the photos so I can take stunning aurora photos with my phone in the bus without adjusting the lighting.
I didn't read the travel agency's message carefully; the meeting time was 8:00 AM, and I didn't arrive at the agency until 8:15 AM (Kkday said 9:00 AM, so be sure to follow the travel agency's schedule). Thankfully, the tour guide waited until everyone arrived before setting off. They provided warm clothing, but I forgot to ask for gloves! Remember to bring windproof gloves! The temperature that day was below -20 degrees Celsius. The husky and reindeer sled experiences were short and okay, but the snowmobile experience was longer and absolutely freezing! 🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶! Your phone and camera will stop working (the scenery was beautiful, but I didn't get any photos 😣). Remember to take all necessary precautions to stay warm! Overall, the experience was excellent; you could even switch hands on the snowmobile so your travel companions could also enjoy it! On the return trip, we changed back into our own clothes at the city office (some people got off directly at Santa Claus Village that day). However, the tour guide was very kind and let us change in the city before taking us to Santa Claus Village. I made the silly mistake of leaving my wallet inside my winter coat, but the travel agency staff were incredibly kind and even helped me search through the pile of clothes for a long time. Luckily, I found it in the end! Thank you so much! 🙏 I highly recommend this travel agency 👉 Nordic Unique Travels
I was so lucky! The weather was good for a few hours that day, and I was able to see the aurora borealis. I was so happy! ☺️
