Start your journey by driving a snowmobile to a local reindeer farm.

From there, you will take a short reindeer sleigh ride, marveling at the range of skills held by these magnificent creatures. 

Afterwards, you will receive your very own International Reindeer Driving License as a memento for the day. Last but not least, you will learn more about the life of reindeer and their herders in the Arctic region as it's a big part of the culture. And have a cup of hot drink before we go to snowmobile back to the city.

  • Know Before You Go: The main meeting place is Safartica Office (Koskikatu 9), 25 MIN. BEFORE THE ACTIVITY STARTS. If you require a different pick-up location, please specify it when booking. We will confirm your meeting time by email accordingly

  • Know Before You Go: The driving time is approximately 1-1.5 hours. Driving speed will depend on weather conditions and driving skills of the participants.

  • Know Before You Go: 2 persons share one snowmobile.

  • Know Before You Go: Drivers must be 18 or older and hold a valid driving license.

  • Know Before You Go: • Not suitable for infants 0-3 years old. Children 4-14 years old are seated in a sledge behind the guide’s snowmobile.

  • Know Before You Go: Not recommended for pregnant women and people with fragile musculoskeletal system.

  • Know Before You Go: The driver is liable for damages up to 990€/accident. A completely optional insurance of 20€ lowers the liability to 150€ and can be purchased on the spot before the tour
