Product Info

For the latest timetable, please refer to the Taiwan Tourist Shuttle official website

On the day of travel, you may use the Bus Real-time Information System to check arrival times.

◎ During summer vacation and consecutive holidays (including weekends), traffic between Kaohsiung and Dapeng Bay is highly susceptible to road conditions and weather, which may cause traffic jams or slow travel times. (The Kenting Express operates on a loop schedule; if the previous bus is delayed, the next bus will also be delayed.) If you have booked a return HSR ticket, we strongly recommend departing 2 to 3 hours in advance to avoid these delays and ensure a smooth journey.

The Taiwan Tourist Shuttle Dapeng Bay-Liuqiu Route is jointly operated by Pingtung Bus and Kaohsiung Bus. The vehicles are marked with the Taiwan Tourist Shuttle logo. (Note: Additional buses dispatched on-site may not have the Taiwan Tourist Shuttle logo; please look for vehicles marked 9127D at the front for the Dapeng Bay-Liuqiu Route.)

Bicycle Regulations

  • Bicycles must be packed in a proper bike bag (it is recommended to disassemble the bike before packing it completely).
  • Folding bicycles do not require a ticket. For non-folding bicycles (bicycles with frames that cannot be folded, e.g., road bikes), a concession ticket must be purchased on-site.
  • Each bus can accommodate approximately 1-2 bicycles (depending on the vehicle model of the scheduled trip).
  • It is recommended to call the Kenting Express Bus Joint Operation Center for inquiries before boarding (Service Hotline: 07-285-0226, 07-285-0227).
  • To ensure there is space for your bicycle, it is recommended to arrive and queue 20 minutes before the departure of your scheduled bus.

Pet Carriage Regulations

  • Passengers traveling with pets (dogs, cats, pet birds, etc.) must keep them in a cage placed under the seat. There is no extra charge if the pet does not occupy a seat. If you wish to occupy a seat for your pet, please purchase a cash concession ticket. (Pet birds refer to small birds commonly sold in pet shops for companionship.)
  • If carrying two pets, you must purchase one concession ticket (for a seat); the other pet must be placed under your own seat (no charge for non-occupying pets).
  • To avoid disputes, if only a single seat is available on a scheduled bus, passengers traveling with two (or more) pets must take the next available bus.
  • If the pet cage is too large to fit under or in front of the seat, you must purchase a half-price ticket with cash, and the pet may be placed on the seat next to the owner (occupying a seat) for close supervision.
  • Pets may not be taken out for play or placed on seats during the journey, and waste must not leak. Failure to comply with these regulations may result in refusal of service.
  • Guide dogs or guide dog puppies accompanied by professional trainers during training are not subject to these restrictions and do not require a concession ticket.
  • The transport of economic animals such as chickens, ducks, geese, and turkeys is currently prohibited on public transport to protect the health and safety of passengers.
  • Note: Passengers carrying small animals must keep them in a pet carrier or small container that is securely packed, with no risk of feces or liquid leakage. The animal's head, tail, and limbs must not be exposed. Each passenger is limited to one carrier, and the volume must not exceed 55 cm in length, 45 cm in width, and 40 cm in height. Small animals must be kept close to the owner and properly cared for; they may not be placed on luggage racks or in the aisle.
