Meet your guide at the 800th anniversary swan fountain (opposite Waterside CV376BA) and set off on a walking tour of Stratford-upon-Avon. Stroll through the historic streets and learn about the town’s fascinating past, which dates back to Roman times.

Discover the history of world-famous playwright William Shakespeare and see the properties associated with him, including his final resting place. Soak in the atmosphere of Henley Street, where Shakespeare was born.

Learn how each era shaped the timeless ambience of the bustling town and its ‘historic spine’. Hear stories and secrets about the town’s past from your knowledgeable guide.

Each participant (3 + years) will receive a complimentary bookmark which features a list of locations of historical interest within Stratford-upon-Avon. To discover more souvenirs available please see add ons. This tour is suitable for all ages, with children under 12 at just £1. Well-behaved dogs are welcome, and the route is accessible for wheelchairs and mobility scooters.

For the remainder of October (unless there is a private event e.g a wedding, baptism or a funeral) will be open daily until 3:45pm - apart from Sunday when it will close at 3.15pm & Wednesday when it will not open until 2pm (until 3:45pm).
