- Pets are not allowed during the winter season.
▶︎About pets - If Biwako Valley cancels operations before the opening time due to bad weather or other reasons, no cancellation fee will be charged. However, we will not be able to compensate for travel expenses to the site.
- During business hours, service may be suspended due to strong winds or lightning to ensure the safety of our customers, but tickets will not be refunded.
In the event of a cancellation, a cancellation email will be sent. Please check the Biwako Valley official website for the reason for the cancellation. - The surrounding roads are very congested on weekends and holidays. Please be aware that refunds will not be given if you are unable to arrive in time for your pick-up, so please allow plenty of time.
- Online advance tickets cannot be resold, exchanged for cash, or used in conjunction with other service tickets.
- Resale is prohibited. We will not be responsible for any resale issues.

Meishin Expressway Kyoto Higashi Interchange - Nishi-Otsu Bypass - Kosai Road Shiga Interchange (approximately 5 minutes from the exit).
[By Train]
Get off at Shiga Station on the JR Kosei Line. Take the local bus (Ewaka Kotsu) and get off at the last stop, "Biwako Valley Mae" (approximately 10 minutes).

- Online advance tickets can be exchanged for an IC card at the automatic ticket vending machine at the Ropeway Foothill Station on the day of your trip.
[About IC card tickets]
- The ropeway and lift ticket gates are automatic gates, so please place your IC card in the left pocket of your clothing.
- Please bring one ticket per person in a group.
- When you leave, please return it to the ticket gate staff at the ropeway summit station.

Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations 2 day(s) (inclusive) before the selected date are allowed. Unused orders can be canceled for free
- For cancellations made 1 to 1 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 30% will apply
- Cancellation is not allowed between 0–0 days from the selected date. Orders cannot be canceled or modified, and refunds will not be granted.
- Due to time zone differences, the confirmed cancellation date is based on the supplier’s local time. Please allow 2–5 business days to process your cancellation request, after which the cancellation fee will be charged according to the product’s cancellation policy. Once the cancellation is confirmed, you will receive your refund within 14 working days.
