- Notice -

  • During periods when the Formosa Express is not in operation, travel in the Eastern and South-Link lines will be changed to the TRA Tengyun Class (including meals and beverages), and travel in the Western line will be changed to the Taiwan High Speed Rail standard car (meals and beverages not included).
  • Formosa Express - New Painted Train: Starting from 2025/1/18, it will operate daily except during the Lunar New Year and winter break (1/21 - 2/10) and summer vacation (7/31 - 8/31), during which it will continue to operate every Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.

  • National Museum of Marine Biology and Aquarium
    • The largest of its kind in Taiwan, the museum features a rich variety of marine life. It is divided into the Waters of Taiwan, Coral Kingdom Pavilion, and Waters of the World, featuring three-story-high aquariums, underwater tunnels, cute penguins, and leisurely swimming beluga whales and sharks, making you feel like you are in an underwater world. It is definitely worth a visit!
  • Grand Cosmos Resort Ruisui, Hualien
    As a top-tier resort brand under the Cosmos Hotel Group, it is located on a 20,000-ping site in Ruisui Township, Hualien. It is the first resort in the country to combine a star-rated hotel, villa estates, family villas, golden hot spring water/water park, and the Angsana Spa among other diverse leisure facilities. - About Accommodation -

Overnight at the Aquarium

  • The overnight stay at the aquarium is a standard itinerary. Available pavilions and areas include: 'Waters of Taiwan', 'Kelv Forest' (except 4/1 - 8/31), and 'Waters of the World' (requires an additional purchase of the 'Crab Encounter' package from 6/1 - 6/30).
  • For bookings between 7/1 - 10/31, you may add the 'Seasonal Limited - Crab Encounter' package. Available pavilions and areas include: 'Underwater Tunnel', 'Beluga Whale Area', and 'Deck Area'.
  • The assigned pavilion and area for the overnight stay are subject to confirmation after the full payment is made. Please provide your preferred order when signing up. Travelers in the same group should choose the same area.
  • If your requested date cannot be fulfilled due to minimum participant requirements, it will be changed to an alternative plan: 13:30 - 17:30 Aquarium visit (including admission), enjoying the scenery of Guanshan - Check-in at Howard Beach Resort Kenting (including dinner). You will be notified at least 3 days before the event. We apologize for any inconvenience.
  • Please bring your own personal toiletries (toothpaste, toothbrush, towel, slippers). Eating and drinking are prohibited in the sleeping areas.
  • The nighttime air conditioning is set to approximately 22 - 24 degrees Celsius. Please bring a light jacket or other warm clothing.
  • Each person will be provided with a set of bedding (mattress pad, quilt, pillow).
  • Sleeping locations are assigned by the tour guides.
  • The intertidal zone observation is an outdoor activity. Please bring sun protection and comfortable, non-slip shoes for the activity.

    - Limited to Taiwan addresses, excluding hotel reception.
    - Sent out sequentially 3 - 10 days before departure.
  • If you wish to pick up the tickets yourself, please note this in your order. Pickup is at the ezTravel Taipei Main Station branch (Taipei Main Station lobby, near North Gate 3 and West Gate 1).

Reminders

  • The physical ticket and physical itinerary information will be sent by mail 3-7 days before departure. Please be sure to check whether the contents are the same.

  • The Island Star carriage is shorter, so please be sure to wait at the designated platform and carriage boarding area to avoid affecting your own rights.

  • All train seats are assigned by a computer system, and the continuity cannot be guaranteed. We apologize for any inconvenience.

  • Since the train for this itinerary provides travel package itineraries, no refunds will be given if you cancel the outgoing/returning one-way trip.

  • In case of bad weather or force majeure factors, the company reserves the right to cancel or change the itinerary.

  • Please gather on time at the specified time. If a passenger leaves the group due to personal reasons or fails to meet up during the itinerary, it will be deemed that the passenger has abandoned the itinerary, and the company will not refund the fee.

  • The driving time stated in the itinerary is for reference only. Due to road conditions or the large number of holiday tourists, the itinerary sequence may be changed depending on the situation.

  • Part of the itinerary is by bus, please bring your own motion sickness pills or other medicines with you.

  • Please bring sun protection products according to your personal needs.

  • Please remember to bring swimwear and a swimming cap when using public hot springs.

  • The product is a personal travel itinerary. Please go to the station to catch the bus by yourself, so we will not send another tour guide to accompany you.

  • The itinerary is a "car sharing system", and the itinerary will dispatch vehicles (small, medium or large tourist vehicles) according to the actual number of people on the day of departure.

  • To protect the environment and care for the earth, the hotel will not actively display disposable supplies.

Cancellation Policy

  • For cancellations made at least 41 day(s) prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 5% will apply
  • For cancellations made 31 to 40 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 10% will apply
  • For cancellations made 21 to 30 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 20% will apply
  • For cancellations made 2 to 20 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 30% will apply
  • For cancellations made 1 to 1 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 50% will apply
  • Cancellation is not allowed between 0–0 days from the selected date. Orders cannot be canceled or modified, and refunds will not be granted.
NOTE
  • Due to time zone differences, the confirmed cancellation date is based on the supplier’s local time. Please allow 2–5 business days to process your cancellation request, after which the cancellation fee will be charged according to the product’s cancellation policy. Once your refund request is confirmed, KKday will initiate the refund to your original payment method within 15 days. The actual refund timing depends on your card-issuing bank’s policy.
