No additional compensation claims will be accepted in such cases, and any other losses or additional expenses incurred will be borne by the traveler.
If you are unable to join the tour due to personal reasons, such as not arriving on the day, being late, getting lost, feeling unwell, leaving the group midway, or voluntarily abandoning the trip, no refund will be given for the fees already paid, and no compensation of any kind will be provided, regardless of the reason for your inability to participate. Thank you for your understanding.
Please understand that due to force majeure factors such as traffic control and weather changes, there may be delays, adjustments to the itinerary, or cancellation of attractions.
The return trip may be delayed due to road conditions, weather, or other objective factors, especially during holidays when traffic congestion is common. The driver/guide will adjust the itinerary flexibly based on the actual situation, and there is a possibility that the return trip will be later than expected. If you need to take a night flight or connect to subsequent trips on the same day, it is recommended to allow sufficient time to avoid affecting your travel plans. No refunds or compensation will be provided for itinerary delays. Please be aware that passengers who need to catch a flight are especially advised to carefully consider their booking or make appropriate arrangements for their subsequent trips.
To ensure tour safety and the smooth running of the entire trip, our company reserves the right to adjust the itinerary, modify activity arrangements, or cancel the tour if necessary. From the entrance of Arakurayama Sengen Park to the Chureito Pagoda observation deck, you'll need to climb approximately 398 steps, known as the 'Sakuyahime Stairs'. Generally, the ascent takes about 15-20 minutes, and the descent takes 10-15 minutes. This climb is not overly strenuous for most visitors, but comfortable shoes are recommended. Rest platforms are available along the way for breaks and to enjoy the scenery.
Arakurayama Sengen Park offers different charms in each season. Visiting in the earlier morning (around 8-10 AM) typically means fewer crowds and good lighting for photos. For the iconic view of cherry blossoms with Mount Fuji, the spring season (late March to early April) is recommended. In autumn (late October to early November), you can enjoy the vibrant fall foliage, experiencing the diverse seasonal beauty of Mount Fuji.
For public transportation, you can take the Fujikyu Railway Line to 'Shimoyoshida Station', and it's about a 10-15 minute walk from the station to the park entrance. The park has a parking lot, but spaces are limited and can fill up quickly, especially during cherry blossom season or on holidays. Visitors driving are advised to arrive early to secure a parking spot, or consider using public transport to avoid the hassle of searching for parking.
In addition to the classic view of the pagoda with Mount Fuji, the park features the 'Arakura Fuji Sengen Shrine' where you can experience local religious culture. Strolling along the mountain path offers different perspectives of the Fujiyoshida city views. Furthermore, during the cherry blossom season, the entire park is adorned with pink blossoms, making it an excellent spot for cherry blossom viewing, providing a diverse range of sightseeing experiences.
A one-day itinerary covering major attractions like Arakurayama Sengen Park, Oshino Hakkai, and Lake Kawaguchiko would be quite packed. Typically, each location is allocated about 1-1.5 hours, and including travel time between them, the schedule will be tight. This type of itinerary is suitable for travelers who want to experience the highlights of the Mount Fuji area in a short period, allowing for efficient exploration of multiple popular photo spots such as the Lawson convenience store and Hikawa Clock Shop.
The best viewing season for the kochia bushes (broom cypress) at Oishi Park in Lake Kawaguchiko is typically from late summer to early autumn. They are bright green in early summer and gradually turn a vibrant red from late September to mid-October as autumn approaches. The view with Mount Fuji at this time is particularly beautiful. This period is also a popular time for photography, so planning your trip in advance is recommended.
Sightseeing buses operating around Lake Kawaguchiko (such as the Kawaguchiko Sightseeing Bus) generally accept payment with transportation IC cards like Suica or Pasmo, offering convenience to travelers. Some bus routes or service counters may also support other electronic payment methods, such as credit cards or mobile payments. It is advisable to confirm at the station or bus stop before boarding to ensure a smooth payment process.
Oshino Hakkai is renowned for its crystal-clear spring ponds, which are natural wonders formed by snowmelt from Mount Fuji filtering through the ground. Recommended highlights include the eight main ponds such as 'Onoike' and 'Kagamiike'. Each pond has a different depth and aquatic plant ecosystem, showcasing unique underwater worlds. Additionally, the traditional thatched-roof houses and the koi carp in the ponds are major attractions, offering a unique rural Japanese atmosphere and the energy of sacred springs.
