Blessed with the nature of the four seasons, we use tea, local sake, vegetables, and Mochi pork grown under the sun and nourished by the melted snow of the three mountains of Uonuma. As people raised in Uonuma who take pride in our home, we believe it is the role of Uonuma Kamakura to pass on the culture and food spirit inherited from our predecessors, as well as the precious food culture and climate unique to this snow-covered land.
The ingredient we are focusing on at Kamakura is Uonuma Jidori! It is a breed that is a cross between the Tomaru chicken, a protected species, and the Nagoya Cochin chicken. It has high-quality fat and meat that is firm and chewy. It is a healthy Jidori chicken raised in a stress-free environment, fed a blend of Koshihikari rice. We offer it simply as fried chicken or in a hot pot that allows you to enjoy the flavor of the dashi.

We have delicious seasonal sake from local breweries arriving one after another! We also recommend the limited edition "Hakkaisan Yukimuro 3-Year Stored Sake" and the amber-colored shochu "Fubaiika" aged in oak barrels.
