・Kyoto Miyama Thatched Cottage, also known as Miyama Town Thatched House (かやぶきの里), is an independent town surrounded by mountain peaks. It is located in Nantan City in the north of Kyoto Prefecture. It is collectively known as Gifu Shirakawa and Fukushima Ouchijuku. The three major thatched house settlements in Japan are also important preservation areas for traditional buildings in Japan. Currently, there are thirty-nine Kitayama-style thatched houses built using Misan's unique techniques; thirty-five of them are private houses and four are folk museums or shops. If you're lucky, you can see the century-old house covered in auspicious snow, with its roofs covered with a layer of white icing, turning them into gingerbread houses. Strolling in the snow surrounded by about 750 bamboo lanterns and flower lanterns, it's like a fairy tale. As romantic as a story

• One adult can bring one child under 3 years old for free.

• At the meeting point, a tour leader will be present to provide information in a foreign language and to inform you of important matters such as the meeting time and location in the language you have chosen. However, no information about the attractions will be provided. Please be aware of this.
• During the group tour, early departure or leaving the group midway is not permitted. Leaving the group midway will be considered as automatically abandoning the unfinished part of the itinerary, and no additional refund will be given. Thank you for your understanding.

Reminders

  • If the trip starts on time, if you drop out of the queue and cannot be contacted during the trip, resulting in delays and late arrivals and being unable to board the bus, you will not be able to claim for a compensation mechanism or refund.

  • The time stated in the itinerary is for reference only. Due to irresistible factors such as road conditions or large numbers of tourists, the stay time at each attraction or the itinerary sequence will be adjusted according to the situation.

  • The period of this trip is during the snow season in Japan, but the snowfall conditions are easily affected by weather and other force majeure factors. The platform does not guarantee or provide any compensation mechanism for snowfall or on-site snow accumulation conditions.

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations 11 day(s) (inclusive) before the selected date are allowed. Unused orders can be canceled for free
  • For cancellations made 8 to 10 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 20% will apply
  • For cancellations made 2 to 7 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 30% will apply
  • For cancellations made 1 to 1 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 40% will apply
  • Cancellation is not allowed between 0–0 days from the selected date. Orders cannot be canceled or modified, and refunds will not be granted.
NOTE
  • Due to time zone differences, the confirmed cancellation date is based on the supplier’s local time. Please allow 2–5 business days to process your cancellation request, after which the cancellation fee will be charged according to the product’s cancellation policy. Once your refund request is confirmed, KKday will initiate the refund to your original payment method within 15 days. The actual refund timing depends on your card-issuing bank’s policy.
