We boarded at Kyoto Station and met at the designated meeting point on time. The tour guide, holding a GOGODAY sign, helped us find our way. The bus driver was professional and courteous; we were lucky to have Wu Yiyu as our guide – friendly, articulate, and a professional tour leader. On the bus, she provided brief introductions to the attractions in both English and Chinese, reminding us of meeting times. She managed the time well for each attraction, allowing us to visit four sites in one day – a truly fulfilling day! ☆ Sanzen-in Temple is the most beautiful spot; there's ample time for photos or lunch. ☆ Shirahisa Shrine is difficult to access, so a tour is the best option. ☆ Mangetsu-ji Temple offers close-up views of Lake Biwa and is a popular spot for locals. ☆ La Collina Omihachiman is very crowded on weekends; if possible, avoid weekends. One hour is enough for photos and to enjoy a Baumkuchen.
The itinerary was well-planned, the tour guide was professional and knowledgeable, and the vehicles were new, but the meals were subpar; improvements are needed.
I wish I had been informed of the license plate number a day in advance, as there were three vehicles on the day of the trip, which caused some confusion, and I thought I had missed my ride. Our tour guide, Abe, was a wonderful person; although the bus was late, the itinerary wasn't delayed. The driver, Fukuoka, was also very friendly. Overall, the trip was fantastic.
