When passing through the Alpine Route, you may bring your own luggage or it will be transported by large bus. The return bus may not board at Tateyama but at Gohyakkoku. In that case, you will need to take the Toyama Chiho Railway to Gohyakkoku (about 40 minutes by train, fare paid by the company).
