Anping Ancient Castle

I casually suggested trying my hand at being a tourist, and the whole experience was unexpectedly fun and beautiful. I usually just drive and cycle around the city, but seeing Tainan from a boat offered a completely different kind of beauty, easily comparable to experiences abroad. The humorous and engaging commentary by the guide, Ye Lai Xiang, along with the thoughtfully chosen music, made the entire trip enjoyable and relaxing. Next time I encounter a difficult customer at work, I'll definitely come back for a boat trip to see seabirds circling overhead.

A historical site experience that won't take too much time; there are brochures available at the entrance with detailed explanations.

I remembered the KKday ticket before entering and bought it on the spot. It was even cheaper when purchased as a set, and since I paid by card, I didn't have to deal with any change, which was convenient.

This day trip to Tainan has made me want to explore Tainan more deeply, since Tainan was once the capital of Taiwan and is a place for historical sites. Anping Fort, Anping Tree House, the British-owned Deer & Co. trading company, and the Sicao Green Tunnel are all great new experiences. If your company continues to offer Tainan day trips, I would consider purchasing them, as some of Tainan's suburbs are really too big and transportation is not very convenient.
