This chartered car experience was fantastic. The driver was very nice and talkative, and he even discussed the itinerary with us along the way, suggesting the most convenient routes. If you're planning to visit Fukuoka, this chartered car service is a great option.
We had a smooth ride on the Takachiho Scenic Railway this morning and also visited Takachiho Gorge. Thanks to our guide, Jiang, for helping us buy the train tickets! Unfortunately, when we went to Asokusa Senri in the afternoon, we encountered heavy fog and rain. Everything was covered in white fog, so we couldn't see anything. It was a bit of a shame, but we'll have to come back another time!
It was great value for money, cheaper than the round-trip Takachiho Expressway Bus, and included a friendly tour guide, a good lunch, and more time to explore Kusasenri. I was lucky to have great weather and no traffic jams. Thanks to our guide, driver, and the other group members for making my experience wonderful.
This day trip with my mom was absolutely perfect, exceeding all my expectations! I'm most grateful to our tour guide, Mr. Sun Peng! He's humorous and witty, and incredibly knowledgeable about Kumamoto's history and stories! I loved listening to these local tales, thank you so much, Mr. Sun! He even provided a list of must-try foods at each stop, and his care for the group was impeccable. He constantly reminded us of our boarding times and made sure everyone from different countries received the information! It made traveling with my mom much easier, and she was full of praise for his service. Because I'm easily anxious, I contacted him a day in advance to confirm the itinerary, and he responded to my questions very quickly! A huge thank you!!! After the trip, we all gave it rave reviews! (We went on a shopping spree, and the tour guide even asked if we needed help putting things in the storage area on the bus, haha!) A huge thank you to tour guide Mr. Sun Peng for taking such good care of us!!! This was truly the best day tour I've ever experienced, and the awe-inspiring nature was simply indescribable. Takachiho Gorge was on my wish list for a long time, and the scenery along the Takachiho Scenic Railway was absolutely stunning. Being surrounded by nature in 360 degrees made me realize how small we humans are. The conductor's playful bubble gun gesture added a touch of warmth to the beautiful scenery. Although I regret not being able to climb the Aso crater this time, I made up for it by visiting a forest-themed shrine. The most unforgettable part was the scenery along the way to Kusanagi! It was the first time I'd seen the magnificent interplay of colors—a golden-orange hue—from the outer peaks of the volcano to the surrounding mountains. A breathtaking sight that you absolutely must see! The itinerary was well-planned; there was no rushing, and I could relax and catch a nap on the bus, ensuring my energy levels were perfectly balanced. This trip not only offered beautiful scenery but, more importantly, created precious family memories. I highly recommend it! A big thank you again to our guide, Mr. Sun Peng, and our driver! Thank you for making this day a particularly happy one in my life.
