KKday's Kumamoto trip was absolutely perfect! The tour guide was professional, attentive, and provided detailed explanations. The pace was relaxed and not rushed at all. We smoothly visited the vast Kusasenri Grassland, the tranquil Ushiomi Kumano Shrine, and the atmospheric Kurokawa Onsen. Even though Mount Aso was closed, they provided an alternative itinerary, and the route planning was excellent. The Kusasenri Grassland crater was stunning, perfect for taking photos at any time. Ushiomi Kumano was serene and peaceful, and Kurokawa Onsen had a strong Japanese atmosphere. The tour guide was patient and attentive throughout, reminding us of the weather and road conditions. Although they tried to sell us horse oil, I had bought some in Hokkaido before and it was indeed quite good. The driver was smooth overall, making the trip comfortable and worry-free. It was excellent value for money and highly recommended!
This day trip included train and boat tours to Aso, Kusanagi, and Takachiho. Each attraction had a dedicated guide who provided detailed explanations of its history and attractions, even outlining which souvenirs to buy. The soft serve ice cream in the Aso area was incredibly rich and delicious. Since the crater was closed, we opted for the Kamishimi Kumanozha shrine instead, which was very tranquil. However, the steep shrine and Takachiho Gorge were a bit challenging due to the rain, so it's advisable to bring a raincoat or hiking poles if needed. I'm very grateful to the wonderful guide and driver throughout the trip; I had a fantastic time.
The customized itinerary was very convenient, and they also provided timely suggestions, helping to guide visitors to attractions and calling ahead to inquire about restaurant availability. Thank you, Ms. Liu, for your care over the past four days! And thank you to Mr. Shen for taking me to the airport on the last day.
