We started from Kyoto and picked the drop-off in Osaka, which was perfect for our plans since we were heading there next. Saved us on train tickets and let us bring our luggage straight on the bus. The bus itself was comfy and clean.
Ine Funaya was beautiful. It was our first time on a boat where you feed seagulls, and it was so much fun, we got some awesome photos. The kids loved it. Amanohashidate was great too, with a little theme park at the top after the monorail ride. They had tasty Japanese curry and sashimi at reasonable prices.
The highlight for me was the single chair lift. I’d recommend taking the monorail up (grab the one in the back for better views) and the chair lift down.
Our guide Laura was fantastic. She explained the spots, shared some history, and gave us heads-ups before arriving. She was quick to respond and handled everything smoothly
Today, we are very grateful to our tour guide, KariNnnnn (whose real name we didn't ask), for leading us and making it a fulfilling and enjoyable day. From the moment we met in the morning, you greeted us with a warm and welcoming attitude, explained the itinerary clearly, and filled us with anticipation for today's journey. The weather was exceptionally good today, with a clear blue sky and fresh air, adding a wonderful atmosphere to the trip. At Amanohashidate, you guided us to appreciate the scenery from the best angles, while sharing local history, culture, and legends, giving us a deeper understanding of one of Japan's three most scenic spots. Standing high up overlooking the magnificent view of the sandbar was truly breathtaking, and we are grateful for your constant reminders of noteworthy details along the way, allowing us to fully appreciate this beautiful scenery. While riding the sea train, you thoughtfully told us the best time and viewing spots for taking photos, enabling us to enjoy the most beautiful azure seascape and the changing light and shadows. Thanks to your guidance, this journey was not just transportation, but a flowing scenic adventure. Upon arriving in Ine Town, the most heartwarming part of the entire trip occurred. You very carefully and patiently took photos for each member, ensuring everyone had the most beautiful memories. Your thoughtfulness and enthusiasm made everyone feel warm and welcome, and made the scenery of the Ine Boat House not only beautiful to behold, but also beautiful to behold in our hearts. In addition, we are very grateful to our driver today. His driving was very smooth throughout the journey, whether navigating curves or mountain roads, making everyone feel safe and comfortable, without any discomfort, allowing us to enjoy the scenery without worry. His professional driving made the whole day's journey smoother and more pleasant. We really want to thank you—KariNnnnn (real name unknown)—for your professionalism, dedication, and radiant smile. This day's memories are very precious, and we will always cherish them. We look forward to the opportunity to participate in a journey led by you again in the future. Once again, we sincerely say: Thank you!
It was very easy and convenient to discuss the itinerary with the driver. Since we weren't visiting tourist areas, we could stroll around more leisurely. I would definitely choose the chartered car service again next time!
