If you're taking a self-guided tour, you can relax a bit by joining a day tour. The attractions we visited were basically just for taking photos and checking off the list, and I didn't think they were worth the three-hour drive. However, our Chinese-speaking guide Simon and English-speaking guide Ji-eun were both very professional and detailed in their explanations. They were also very proactive in taking group photos for us. The lunch they arranged for us was simple yet delicious, and all the group members were very punctual. It was a great experience.
National Healing Park is small and charming, perfect for families with children. Visitors can enjoy glacier boating for stunning photos, as well as a donut-shaped ski slope, roller coaster, ice sculptures, and rabbit feeding – there's plenty of time to experience everything. Bulguksa Temple, Daereungwon & Hwangri-do Road, and Woljeong Bridge & Gyochon are also great for adults to take beautiful photos. Overall, the itinerary is comprehensive, with just the right amount of time allotted. The excellent explanations and service from our Chinese-speaking guide (Ms. Kim Kyung-ran) ensured a happy and safe trip. ☺️
