- Tianchi Lake is at an altitude of about 2000 meters. Altitude sickness is generally not a concern there, but the ultraviolet radiation at the summit is quite strong. Please bring sunscreen, a parasol, and sunglasses before you go. If it is cloudy or rainy, the temperature at Tianchi Lake will be slightly lower than in the city. Elderly people and children should bring a light jacket in case of need.
