It is about the pleasant feeling of squishing clay and realizing that pottery is difficult yet fun. The main focus is on 'experiencing pottery.' Please choose to fire your favorite pieces from what you have created. This is not for those seeking professional-level results. ・The pottery works shown are those of our affiliated artists. This experience does not guarantee you can make the exact same items. ・You will use the same clay and glazes under the same conditions as our artists, rather than cheap materials intended for beginners. ★Other ・These are 'kiln transmutation' (Yohen) ceramics, where the atmosphere changes for each piece even with the same firing. ・The finished product may or may not look like the sample. ・Children or elderly individuals with weak grip strength may have difficulty making them well. ・As these are ceramics, they may grow mold if not properly cared for. ▼Shipping for finished products (materials + handling + Yamato Transport shipping fee) Separate, paid on-site Kanto to Kansai (1,650 yen per location/up to 2 people) (From 3 people, calculated at 660 yen per person)
  • You can complete your first piece without hesitation by following 3 steps with the instructor and all participants in about 10 minutes.
  • Once you finish practicing with the first piece, it is time for the real thing. From the second piece on, the instructor will minimize hands-on help and provide advice only. Even if you fail on 1 or 2 pieces, you have unlimited clay, so you can enjoy yourself without fear of failure♪
  • Standard firing? Artist-style firing? Traditional kiln-style firing? Choose from '16 standard glazes,' '309 artist-style glazes,' and '8 Wabi-Sabi & Kiln Transmutation glazes.'
  • ▼The 16 standard glazes are recommended for families and couples who want to enjoy pottery lightly. ▼The '8 Wabi-Sabi & Kiln Transmutation glazes,' now used only in high-end restaurants and luxury hotels, are for those who love tea or sake and can appreciate the difference between 'pottery works and mass-produced ceramics.' ▼Furthermore, you can choose options such as applying different glazes inside and out or adding handles, just like our affiliated artists. Please check the Instagram of each artist for the atmosphere of the finishes. [Affiliated Artists] Search Keywords ・TK-Chan [Hokekyo-an] ・Mabo-Rie [naturallystudio]
