Product Info

- Attractions -

  • [Shiraito Falls] A natural waterfall in Itoshima City, Fukuoka, with a drop of about 24 meters. It is named for the way its water cascades down as delicately as white silk. Surrounded by lush green forest, it is a famous summer retreat. *If roads are icy in winter, the tour will go directly to the next attraction and the time will be spent at the other stops.
  • [Forest Cafe Midori no Oto] A trendy cafe hidden in the forest, famous for its terrace seating surrounded by bamboo. Enjoy coffee and desserts in nature and take some relaxing slow time. *Each guest must purchase at least one drink as an entry fee (except children aged 6 and under). Desserts and other items can be added on-site and paid for there (cash, Alipay, or PayPay).
  • [Itoshima Totoro Forest] A forest trail in the Keya area, where lush trees form a tunnel like a scene from a Hayao Miyazaki film, making it a popular hidden photo spot. The trail climbs about 180 m to the top. The path may be slippery when it rains, so please decide whether to go up to the observation deck based on the weather, the schedule, and your own physical condition.
  • [Sakurai Futamigaura] Itoshima's most iconic coastal scenery. The white torii gate and the Wedded Rocks (Meoto Iwa) standing side by side in the sea symbolize good relationships and happiness, making it a sacred spot for couples.
  • [Angel Wings] An art mural on the outer wall of the seaside cafe PALM BEACH THE GARDENS, one of Itoshima's most iconic Instagram photo spots.
  • [Palm Tree Swing] Located on the Odahama coastline on the east side of the Itoshima Peninsula, this popular photo installation on the beach combines palm trees and sea views for a tropical resort vibe. It is one of the must-visit spots in Itoshima.
  • Route A only [Hamayaki Shirahamaya] One of Itoshima's popular must-visit seafood restaurants, open April to October. From November to March, or when the restaurant cannot take a reservation, you will dine at a seafood restaurant of the same level (meal at your own expense). It specializes in freshly caught seafood BBQ, with fresh oysters, scallops, and seafood rice bowls, all while you take in Itoshima's beautiful sea views in a relaxed seaside setting. Meals are at your own expense. *Per the restaurant's rules, your guide must contact them and pre-order in advance, and priority entry may not be available on some dates. If a reservation cannot be made due to the restaurant's operations, you will dine at a similar seafood restaurant of the same quality.
  • Route A only [Mataichi Salt Maker] Known for traditional handmade salt, the workshop uses seawater from the Genkai Sea, sunlight, sea breeze, and traditional flat-pan boiling to produce natural sea salt with a unique flavor. Besides the wide-open coastal views, you can also try its signature "Hanashio Pudding" (flower salt pudding) at your own expense.
  • Route A (November only) and Route B (year-round) [Raizan Sennyoji Temple] A thousand-year-old temple founded in the Nara period, with a giant maple tree over 400 years old and a Japanese garden. It is especially spectacular in the autumn foliage season and is one of Fukuoka's famous maple-viewing spots. It also enshrines a wooden standing statue of the Thousand-Armed Kannon, a nationally designated Important Cultural Property. Admission is free outside the foliage season; visiting the main hall costs JPY 500 per person for high school students and above, and an additional mountain entry fee of JPY 200 applies during the November foliage season (at your own expense).
  • Route B only [Ichiran no Mori] The factory and exhibition hall of the famous ramen brand Ichiran. Learn how the ramen is made and taste natural tonkotsu ramen served on-site. During peak times, the wait can be about 40 minutes, so we recommend buying your ticket first and touring the ramen museum while you wait. Lunch is at your own expense, and cash, e-payments, and credit cards are accepted.
