Immerse yourself in the bold, delicious world of Roman cuisine with this hands-on cooking class. In this unique experience, Chef Cristina will guide you step by step through the preparation of four legendary Roman pasta dishes.
Learn to make Cacio e Pepe, a simple yet bold dish with Pecorino Romano and black pepper, Gricia, the ancestor of the Carbonara, with crispy guanciale and cheese, Carbonara, rich and creamy, made the Roman way (no cream!), and Amatriciana, a tomato-based classic with guanciale and Pecorino.
But that’s not all—you won’t just be mastering sauces. You’ll also make four different types of fresh pasta from scratch: bucatini, rigatoni, spaghetti alla chitarra, and fettuccine. Using ancient tools and a traditional bronze pasta die, learn how to shape each pasta perfectly for its matching sauce, just as Romans have done for generations.
Held in an authentic Roman kitchen, this experience is packed with flavor, history, and hands-on fun. All ingredients are locally sourced and of the highest quality, and vegetarian or vegan options are available upon request.
After cooking, sit down with Chef Cristina and enjoy a feast of your creations—paired with local wine and warm conversation. Whether you're a foodie, a pasta lover, or just curious about Roman food culture, this experience will leave you with full bellies, new skills, and unforgettable memories.
