The order of the itinerary, arrival times, and stay durations listed in the schedule are for reference only. The actual itinerary will be flexibly adjusted based on weather, traffic, on-site conditions, and the operating status of each attraction on the day. In case of bad weather, traffic delays, road closures, full bookings, facility closures, local events, or other special circumstances, the order of the itinerary may be adjusted, or some attractions may be replaced or canceled. Final arrangements are subject to the actual on-site conditions on the day.
Please be sure to follow the safety instructions provided by the tour leaders and on-site staff during the trip. In the event that Takachiho Gorge is closed due to rising water levels or other conditions, the itinerary and attractions will be adjusted accordingly for safety reasons. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
If delays occur due to accidents, traffic congestion, weather, or other unforeseen factors, it may affect subsequent parts of the itinerary and your own travel, accommodation, or other reservations. We cannot provide compensation for any losses or additional expenses incurred as a result.
If a traveler fails to show up, leaves the tour midway, or voluntarily abandons part of the itinerary due to personal reasons, it will be considered a voluntary abandonment of the unfinished itinerary, and no refunds or compensation will be provided.
Please keep your passport, documents, cash, and other valuables safe. Our company, drivers, tour leaders, and guides are not responsible for any loss or theft.
This tour involves long travel times. It is recommended that elderly travelers, pregnant women, and those with special health conditions or limited mobility assess their own physical condition before booking and be accompanied by family or a companion. Please inform us at the time of booking if you have any chronic illnesses or other conditions that may affect travel safety. If you are unable to assess whether you are suitable for the tour, we recommend consulting a physician beforehand and making the necessary preparations.
Under no circumstances and in no location shall the company, drivers, tour leaders, or guides be held responsible for any loss of money or items due to theft. Travelers are responsible for the safekeeping of their own property and documents.
In the event of weather conditions, natural disasters, traffic issues, road closures, government instructions, or other force majeure factors, the company may adjust, change, or cancel the itinerary to ensure the safety of travelers. If the tour is canceled due to these reasons, refunds will be processed according to the actual situation; other derivative costs such as transportation, accommodation, or related expenses will not be compensated.
The availability of a priest-led tour depends on the shrine's arrangements and on-site conditions on the day. If a priest-led tour cannot be arranged, the tour guide will introduce relevant attractions within the shrine grounds, and travelers are free to explore on their own. The priest-led tour is a free service provided by the shrine; if it cannot be provided due to the day's arrangements, the tour will proceed as scheduled, and no refunds will be given.
