This 2-day, 1-night tour combines the prestigious Omagari Fireworks Festival, one of Tohoku's most iconic fireworks displays, with a visit to the scenic spots and famous landmarks of Iwate Prefecture. [Day 1]
From Tokyo, take the Tohoku Shinkansen to Morioka Station. Then, travel by private bus to Omagari in Akita Prefecture and enjoy the "Omagari Fireworks - Autumn Chapter -" from table seating. A bento box will be provided for dinner. After watching the fireworks, travel to Tsunagi Onsen in Iwate Prefecture and relax at a hot spring inn.
[Day 2]
After breakfast, we'll head to the Sanriku coast and enjoy a lunch of the local specialty, the Bottled Donburi Set, at the hotel. Afterwards, we'll have free time to stroll along Jodogahama Beach, known for its beautiful contrast of white rock faces and blue sea. Next, we'll visit Ryusendo Cave, one of Japan's three largest limestone caves. You'll get to see the mystical underground lake, known as "Dragon Blue" for its exceptional clarity. After the visit, we'll take the Shinkansen from Morioka Station back towards Tokyo, arriving in the evening and disbanding.

- The fireworks display will generally proceed regardless of rain, but the use of umbrellas is prohibited in the viewing area, so please bring a raincoat.
- The ground becomes very muddy when it rains, so please wear comfortable shoes that you don't mind getting dirty.
- Please note that the arrival time at the venue may be earlier to avoid traffic congestion. There is no shade at the venue while you wait for the fireworks to begin. Also, temperatures will drop at night, so it would be convenient to bring a cardigan or other light jacket to protect yourself from the heat or cold.
- Other useful items to bring include insect repellent spray, tissues, and a penlight, flashlight, or other light source, as visibility will be poor after the fireworks display.
