Explore the charming mountain town of Banff, located in the heart of Banff National Park. Stroll along Banff Avenue, browse boutique shops, and enjoy cozy cafés and fine dining restaurants. Take in stunning views of Cascade Mountain rising dramatically in the background.

Ride the Banff Gondola to the summit of Sulphur Mountain for breathtaking 360-degree panoramic views. Admire six mountain ranges, the Bow Valley, and the town of Banff below. Explore interpretive exhibits and a scenic walkway to the historic Cosmic Ray Station.

Relax in the soothing waters of the Banff Upper Hot Springs, perched high on Sulphur Mountain. Soak in the warm outdoor pool while surrounded by snow-capped peaks, especially magical during winter when steam rises into the crisp mountain air.

Visit Bow Falls, a wide and powerful waterfall known for its scenic beauty and accessibility. Stop at Surprise Corner, a famous viewpoint offering a postcard-perfect perspective of the grand castle-like Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel framed by mountains and forested slopes.

Explore the Cave and Basin National Historic Site, the birthplace of Canada’s national park system in 1885. Discover the original thermal cave, learn about the discovery of the hot springs, and see the turquoise thermal waters inside the cave.

Marvel at the Banff Hoodoos, tall, thin pillars of sedimentary rock shaped over thousands of years by erosion from wind and water. Enjoy sweeping views of the Bow River valley and surrounding mountain landscapes from the Hoodoos viewpoint.

Take a short scenic drive from Banff to Lake Minnewanka, the largest lake in the park. Enjoy boat cruises, wildlife viewing, and lakeside walks along its deep blue waters. Nearby, Two Jack Lake offers a quieter setting, known for its calm waters and iconic reflections of Mount Rundle.

Finally, visit Johnson Lake, a local favorite for relaxation and outdoor recreation. Walk along the flat path around its shoreline, perfect for families and casual hikers. In summer, enjoy swimming and paddleboarding, while in cooler seasons it remains a tranquil escape away from busier tourist areas.
