Explore the marine life of the beautiful Aegean Sea at Agia Pelagia, next to Heraklion in Crete, with a sea scooter. Snorkel the bay of Mononaftis and observe the local marine life. Using a sea scooter while snorkelling will allow you to cover more distance easily, so you can see even more marine life.

Mononaftis beach is a popular spot for diversified marine life, crystal water, warm water, not deep water and as a safe diving spot. At only 25 km off the capital of the biggest island in Greece, Mononaftis beach is an accessible spot and not too touristic.

This snorkelling tour opens up to a fascinating underwater world made of sparkling colours, lively marine life, coral reefs, all in complete safety.

  • Meeting point description: Pick up is available from Agia Pelagia, Limenas Chersonisou, Stalida, Kokkini Hani, Gournes, Gouves, Malia, Ligaria, Heraklion, Ammoudara - Gazi, Annisaras and Fodele. Alternatively, you can meet directly at the activity provider's office, located at El. Venizelou 2, Ag. Pelagia 715 00, Greece, opposite of out of the Blue Capsis elite resort. Please arrive at the meeting point at least 15 minutes before the start of the experience.(Ελευθερίου Βενιζέλου 2, Αγία Πελαγία, Greece)

  • Know in advance:Snorkelling is a safe activity, but participants should be comfortable in water

  • Sea scooter is ideal for everyone with basic swimming skills.

  • Each day is divided into 2 or 3 diving groups set by divers.

  • If you would like to be picked up from your hotel, please get in touch with the activity provider by email. You'll find the contact details in the voucher after booking.

  • Pickup takes place around 09:00am and drop off around 14:30pm. The transfer service is not private for each participant

  • The tour is also available in Greek and Russian.
