There is a 1400 years of history in Asakusa, but don't worry, the tour is limited to 6 guests, so you won't miss a thing!


First you'll get to know the Sensoji Temple, Tokyo's most important sights. Learn about the history and secrets of this ancient place and take part in the rituals that the Japanese know when visiting temples and shrines. You'll have fun drawing a paper fortune.
Afterward, escape to the Rokku area: Asakusa's traditional entertainment district, always busy yet rarely busy. Walkthrough from the Meiji Era to the Present. This neighborhood of never-ending novelty—movies, comedies, and exotic animals—has become a quaint neighborhood filled with crafts and nostalgia.

Next you'll eat at a traditional izakaya restaurant. Since alcoholic beverages play a key role in izakaya, it is often conveniently translated as "pub" or "tavern". However, izakaya is very different from these western counterparts and is unique to Japan.

You can enjoy a full range of alcohol and non-alcoholic beverages with various dishes that generally go well with alcohol. Of course, while guests can enjoy Japanese drinks like sake and shochu, they can also enjoy a wide range of traditional dishes.

  • Meeting point description: The meeting place is in front of a Burger King restaurant right next to Exit 4 of Asakusa subway station (G19) on the Ginza line. Please step outside when you reach Exit 4.(2 Chome-20-6 Kaminarimon, Taito City, Tokyo, Japan)

  • The tour will start on schedule and no refund will be provided for any guest who fails to show up at the meeting point at the designated time

  • Guests can enjoy dinner at Izakaya with unlimited drinks. While some restrictions apply in the selection of drinks, standard drinks at izakaya are available such as beer, sake, shochu, wine, and common cocktails

  • Guests can leave Izakaya at any time. After dinner the tour is over, the guide will take those who wish to Asakusa Station

  • While vending machines can be found along the way, bringing a bottle of water is always a good idea
