Peles Castle, Bran Castle & Brasov Small-Group Tour (Max 18 People)

Discover some of Romania’s most iconic landmarks on a full-day small-group tour from Bucharest.

Travel comfortably with central pick-up ( Grand Hotel Bucharest ), and enjoy a personalized experience with a maximum of 18 participants as you explore fairy-tale castles, spectacular mountain landscapes, and a charming medieval city in the heart of Transylvania.

Your journey begins with a scenic drive through the beautiful Carpathian Mountains to the elegant resort town of Sinaia. Here you will see the magnificent Peleș Castle, one of the most stunning royal residences in Europe. Built in the late 19th century for King Carol I of Romania, the castle impresses visitors with its Neo-Renaissance architecture, richly decorated rooms, intricate wood carvings, and an impressive collection of art and weapons. Surrounded by forested mountains, Peleș looks like it came straight out of a storybook.

Next, the tour continues to the legendary Bran Castle, famously associated with the Dracula legend. Perched dramatically on a rocky hill near the town of Bran, this medieval fortress is often linked to the fictional character created by Bram Stoker in the novel Dracula. While the real historical connections are limited, the castle’s mysterious atmosphere, narrow staircases, hidden passages, and fascinating exhibitions make it one of Romania’s most visited attractions.

After exploring Bran Castle, you will travel to the historic city of Brașov, one of the best-preserved medieval cities in Romania. Enjoy a guided walking tour through the charming Old Town, where colorful buildings, Gothic architecture, and lively squares create a unique atmosphere. Highlights include the impressive Black Church, the largest Gothic church in Eastern Europe, as well as Council Square and the picturesque narrow streets that reveal the city’s Saxon heritage. You will also have free time to explore, take photos, or relax at one of the cozy cafés in the historic center.

Throughout the day, your knowledgeable guide will share fascinating stories about Romania’s royal history, medieval legends, and cultural traditions. Traveling in a small group allows for a more relaxed pace, easier interaction with your guide, and a more enjoyable overall experience.

This tour is perfect for travelers who want to see Romania’s most famous castles and a beautiful Transylvanian city in a single day, while enjoying the comfort pick-up from the center of Bucharest, and the intimacy of a small group.

Join us for an unforgettable journey through castles, legends, and medieval charm.
