  • This tour offers an experience of the fundamentals of calligraphy, where you will create a piece of artwork to display in your home. Our instructor is a certified master from the Japan Educational Calligraphy Federation, ensuring you receive expert guidance. Held in the Ginza/Tsukiji area, this tour is perfect to combine with a stroll through Ginza or a visit to the Tsukiji restaurant district. As a private tour with a maximum of 6 participants, you can enjoy the experience without worrying about other groups, and the start time can be customized to your convenience. This is a wonderful opportunity to immerse yourself in Japanese culture. We look forward to your participation.
  • Experience the fundamentals of calligraphy.
  • You will learn the basics of calligraphy, including how to hold and use the brush. Mastering these basic movements will help you create beautiful characters.
  • Create your own artwork.
  • You will create a piece of artwork featuring your favorite characters. The finished piece can be displayed in your home or elsewhere.
  • Learn basic Japanese and exchange information about Japan.
  • The instructor will introduce basic Japanese phrases. You will also have the opportunity to exchange information about Japan with the instructor and support staff.

  • Time required and comments: Basic practice 30 minutes: You will practice simple characters. Advanced practice 30 minutes: You will try your hand at slightly more difficult characters. Craft work 30-60 minutes: You will choose your favorite characters and create a work of art.

・For those arriving by car: We do not have parking available, so please use a nearby paid parking lot. ・For those arriving by train: Please meet us at Exit 1 of Tokyo Metro Tsukiji Station. ・For those arriving by other means: If taking a taxi, please specify Exit 1 of Tsukiji Station.

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations 2 day(s) (inclusive) before the selected date are allowed. Unused orders can be canceled for free
  • Cancellation is not allowed between 0–1 days from the selected date. Orders cannot be canceled or modified, and refunds will not be granted.
NOTE
  • Due to time zone differences, the confirmed cancellation date is based on the supplier’s local time. Please allow 2–5 business days to process your cancellation request, after which the cancellation fee will be charged according to the product’s cancellation policy. Once your refund request is confirmed, KKday will initiate the refund to your original payment method within 15 days. The actual refund timing depends on your card-issuing bank’s policy.
