• A World of Macro! Yanbaru Night Safari Tour Ancient subtropical forest [Yanbaru World Natural Heritage Site] When night falls, many creatures wake up. This is a thrilling night safari tour where you can sneak into the jungle area where these creatures live♪ There are several known roosts for the Okinawa rail (Yanbaru kuina). If they are sleeping in those trees, you might just meet the elusive Okinawa rail♪ (Please note that they are not always at their roosts). Our guides will share fascinating information about Yanbaru and its flora and fauna, and we will capture the beauty of the macro world with a DSLR camera to provide you with dynamic photos as a gift♪ Explore the Yanbaru forest at night, where the atmosphere is completely different from the daytime. Look for habu snakes, giant mottled eels, wild boars, and freshwater prawns. Plus, many frogs and endemic species. If you are lucky, you might encounter an Okinawa rail sleeping in a tree or many other precious endemic species!!! If the weather is clear, we will also provide a complimentary group photo under the starry sky♪ (If you want to fully enjoy the starry sky or would like a dedicated starry sky photo session with family or friends, please book our Stargazing Tour.) *The tour requires a minimum of 2 participants.
