Product Info

Located beside the Shigi no Yachi Numa pond near the Zao Onsen district in Yamagata, Iwashimizu Ryori no Yado Kinosato is a quiet Japanese-style inn featuring free-flowing, acidic, cloudy hot spring water and alkaline natural water baths. Refresh your mind and body in our semi-open-air baths scented with yuzu and cypress, or in our open-air baths with views of the magnificent nature.

The inn takes pride in its colorful kaiseki cuisine, featuring Zao beef, seasonal seafood, and Yamagata's finest vegetables. We offer a variety of rooms, including Japanese-style and modern Japanese-style rooms, with Simmons beds and modern furniture to ensure a high-quality sleep. The hallways feature botanical art by Mr. Sugisaki, allowing guests to enjoy a luxurious gallery-like atmosphere. We deliver a special accommodation experience where time flows slowly, accompanied by the four seasons of Zao, traditional Japanese charm, and heartwarming hospitality.
