I was sitting in front of the 7-Eleven, but it seems like it was hidden and couldn't be seen. Because of this, I had to leave a little late, but they found me. It was crowded with people because of the festival and the weather was cloudy, so I couldn't see the sunset, but they were very kind to me. Thank you very much.
The mall has convenient dining and restroom facilities, and there are also staff to maintain order. The granular sandpit is great for children to play in and is easy to clean. All the facilities are very attractive to children, making it a great place to burn off energy.
Yesterday morning, my 14-year-old niece and I attended a jade polishing course in Hualien, a truly precious and unforgettable experience. We started by polishing raw jade stones, slowly creating our own jade necklaces. The moment the piece was finished, I felt an indescribable sense of emotion—it wasn't just a necklace, but a warm, story-filled keepsake. The staff were incredibly kind and patient with the children, carefully guiding them step-by-step, allowing even first-time jade polishers to experience the process with peace of mind and a sense of accomplishment. Seeing my niece's focused and bright eyes, I knew this trip was definitely worthwhile. Hualien was one of the world's largest jade-producing regions in the 1960s and 70s, nurturing an important jade culture in Taiwan. Although the industry has transformed, these jade workshops continue to invest in tourism and cultural education, allowing the next generation to learn about this history and the story of this land through their own hands. Besides allowing children to experience local culture, they have made invaluable efforts to preserve Taiwan's jade culture, a truly commendable contribution. If you're visiting Hualien with your children, I highly recommend arranging a course like this. This is more than just DIY; it's a profound experience that combines history, culture, and emotion. Highly recommended (five stars)!
Come and have fun! They're closing in April, so come play with them!
