Thankfully, I chose the second day. It didn't rain, but the course surface was terrible; those wearing sandals went from white to black. Unlike the first day, the wait for the shuttle bus wasn't long; it started even earlier than the staff said. I was lucky to get standard first-row tickets, which had a lot of space to release sky lanterns—they provided a ton! There were also fireworks, but unfortunately, the wind direction was different from the fireworks. The end was quite chaotic, with no great exit route; you had to watch by yourself, and some people even cut in line. There were golf carts to take you to the restrooms, but I still recommend not drinking too much, as I don't know if there will be a water shortage later. I highly recommend attending; it's much cheaper than other events.
You can freely choose where to go first; as long as there are two people, you don't need to join a group and can have your own car. It's a very unique waterfall climb, fun and exciting!!
I'm very grateful to the driver for his thoughtful commentary on the sights along the way and for always being punctual at the right time and place each month. It was a very pleasant trip, and I'm very thankful.
Thank you so much for all members of Lanna elephant care !
It was such a joy spending time with cute and playful elephants for the first time in my life !
Guides are kind and helpful for taking pictures for me with elephants .
We enjoyed giving bananas to them ,walking together along the river with them and giving shower for them at the river . We had delicious pat thai watching elephants in the beautiful field in sanctuary. I’d love to come back again.
