Takamatsu City

Spring (late March to mid-April) is the most recommended tourist season in Takamatsu City. Cherry blossoms are in full bloom. Ritsurin Park, Megijima and other places have become popular attractions for cherry blossom viewing. Summer (mid-August) is the time of the Sanuki Takamatsu Festival, and the city is full of energy.

Must-visit attractions include Ritsurin Park, Kotohira-gu Shrine, Shodoshima, etc. Ritsurin Park is known as one of the most beautiful Japanese gardens in Japan, Kotohira-gu Shrine is one of Japan's three major water castles, and Shodoshima is a well-known island attraction.
