Our tour guide, Mr. Wang, provided clear explanations, and there was ample time at each attraction. The scenery was beautiful, especially the autumn leaves at Qianru Temple and Dabeiwang Courtyard in Leishan, which were stunning. The beach scenery was also quite nice. Highly recommended.
Every time I go to Japan, I book a day trip to some remote attractions through KKDAY. It's so easy to get to the beautiful places I want to visit without any hassle! This time, our guide, Mr. Tian (my Mandarin isn't very good, so I hope I heard correctly! 😜), provided excellent service. He was polite, funny, and considerate. The female driver was also very polite and had great driving skills. Driving on the winding mountain roads, I didn't feel any swaying or jolting at all, and the whole trip was very comfortable.
This off-the-beaten-path experience was fantastic! Karuizawa offered fresh air and European elegance, providing a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle. A visit to Hikawa Shrine added a touch of solemnity and romance. Finally, stepping into Kawagoe's Little Edo felt like stepping back in time; the quaint streets and clock tower exuded a nostalgic atmosphere. While the initial choice of an outlet mall was slightly compromised by a change to Hoshino Resorts on the same day, the entire day's itinerary, combining natural beauty, cultural depth, and historical atmosphere, made for a profound and therapeutic day trip.
We took a bus from Karuizawa Station to see Shiraito Falls. Since we had a one-day pass, we got off at Kyu-Karuizawa on the way back and had lunch. We planned our schedule by looking at the timetable, and the bus ran on time, so we were able to travel efficiently. However, it seemed like the bus back to Karuizawa Station was full and we couldn't get on. We were lucky to get on just in time.
