Our trip didn't start off smoothly. There was traffic, one of our companions had a stomachache, and so on, but all these difficulties were resolved with the help of our guide and driver. Hallstatt is incredibly beautiful, but unfortunately, the salt mine was under repair and we couldn't visit it, which was a bit of a shame.
I visited during free time on a group tour. Since they limit the number of visitors at any given time, I was able to take my time exploring the museum. I wanted to enjoy the realistic details of Klimt's "The Kiss," such as the brushstrokes and texture of the paint, up close, but there were many visitors taking photos with their smartphones, so I could only appreciate the painting from a certain distance. However, there was a display of a replica "part of the painting" next to the original, allowing visitors to touch and feel the simulated texture. This was a nice touch.
Even though I booked at the last minute, I received the QR code right away, and I was able to enjoy the experience smoothly and at a great price! They also sell tickets in front of the museum, but this is cheaper!
I was initially hesitant about the price and whether I should visit so many attractions... but after actually using it, I highly recommend it! I spent three full days in Vienna, taking the sightseeing bus to many important sights, and also went on a boat tour, Ferris wheel ride, and climbed the tower to see the view of Vienna from above. It was a very fulfilling experience! Vienna is a fantastic city!
