Although the water level is lower during winter cruises, the river is crystal clear, allowing you to see right down to the bottom. Enjoying Japanese hot pot and meals on board is a unique experience, and the food isn't cold – it's heated and kept warm, which is quite interesting. At the end of the cruise, in addition to the mud and stones provided for throwing, you can buy more to throw until your arms ache. The only downside is the limited free time at the end, and the toilets are closed during winter, so you need to use the restroom before setting off. On the return trip, since you've finished your meal, you can feed the ducks, which is quite fun. A cool breeze blows in through the windows as you feed the ducks, admire the cliffs and green streams, and listen to the captain's romantic singing – the journey is truly enchanting!

Just as expected, there was no wind, and there were so few people that I was worried about them! The lift was easy to get on, so I was able to ski down the slopes in an incredibly comfortable manner. There seemed to be a slightly larger number of skiers, but it seems that all the snowboarders were enjoying themselves in the forest. Even the beginner's section was too difficult to attempt the tree run, but I was very satisfied just with the slopes. The temperature was minus 10 degrees, but thanks to the lack of wind, it didn't feel that cold. The Sangen pork red curry was also very delicious. I'll definitely go again, even if I have to take the Shinkansen and rent a car!!
