Product Info

Ice formations and frozen waterfalls are seasonal and depend on weather conditions. During warmer periods, this experience operates as a guided Grotto Canyon hike. Ice and snow conditions cannot be guaranteed.

Experience three of the Canadian Rockies’ most iconic destinations in one unforgettable winter adventure. Begin with a walk on a frozen creek bed in Grotto Canyon, surrounded by towering canyon walls, dramatic ice formations, and frozen waterfalls. Discover ancient Indigenous pictographs hidden on the rock walls, some believed to be over 1,500 years old. Ice cleats are provided to ensure a safe and comfortable walk on the ice.

Next, visit Lake Louise, often called the "Jewel of the Rockies." In winter, the turquoise lake transforms into a frozen wonderland surrounded by snow-covered peaks and the iconic Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise. Enjoy free time to walk along the lakeshore and capture unforgettable photos of this world-famous destination.

Finally, explore Banff, Canada's most famous mountain town. Surrounded by spectacular Rocky Mountain scenery, the town offers charming streets, local boutiques, cafés, restaurants, and stunning mountain views in every direction. Enjoy free time to explore Banff Avenue, enjoy local shops, or simply relax and take in the atmosphere of this historic alpine destination.
