Product Info

We will start our excursion from Puerto Varas, “the City of Roses,” towards the Osorno Volcano. Skirting Llanquihue Lake, we will enjoy a beautiful picture-postcard view with the snow-capped Osorno and Calbuco volcanoes in the background, until we reach the Ensenada sector. From there, we will begin the ascent to the Osorno Volcano Ski and Mountain Center, located at an altitude of 1,240 meters.

We'll spend about an hour there, where there will be time to enjoy the landscape, take pictures, and appreciate an unparalleled view of the summits of the volcanoes with their glaciers of eternal snow, Calbuco, Lake Llanquihue, and the Pacific Ocean.

Optionally, passengers can have a coffee or sandwich at the on-site cafeteria or take the lifts to ascend to the Primavera Station at 1450 meters high or to the Glaciar Station at 1750 meters high, from where there is a wonderful and impressive view of Lake Llanquihue.

We will begin the descent towards the Ensenada area, where we will have time to stop and enjoy a delicious lunch (not included).
Departure to the Petrohué Falls, where, after paying admission to the National Park, we will take in one of the most iconic sites in the area, the "Petrohué Falls" vantage point. This is a place where the river (of the same name) flows among great masses of crystallized lava, immune to erosion for centuries and formed by smaller stones joined by a vitreous material that stands out to the eye. It is a must-see place. (This tour takes about 30 minutes.)

We head to the Petrohué Cruise Port, located on the shore of Todos Los Santos Lake. Optionally, within the time stipulated in this sector, you can take a 30-minute boat trip on the bay of the lake (not included) or go on a gentle walk along the shore of the lake, all surrounded by an evergreen forest, the majesty of the Osorno Volcano, and the spectacular turquoise color of the Petrohué River.
