Product Info

Begin your day with a scenic drive from Muscat to Barka. Upon arrival, immerse yourself in the lively atmosphere of the Barka Fish and Vegetable Market. Watch local fishermen selling their fresh catch and browse seasonal fruits and vegetables. Take the opportunity for cultural interaction and photos.

Next, head to Barka Fort, a historic coastal fort with watchtowers and defensive walls. Learn about Oman’s maritime history and enjoy views of the surrounding town. Continue to Al Numan Castle, a lesser-known but culturally rich site. Admire traditional Omani architecture and the peaceful surroundings, ideal for a relaxed, less crowded experience.

After exploring the castles, drive to Al Sawadi Beach, one of Oman’s most scenic beaches. Relax on the beach with views of offshore islands and clear waters. Enjoy optional activities like horse riding along the beach, a paragliding experience (subject to weather conditions), swimming, a beach walk, or a boat trip (if available).

Consider having lunch at a nearby local restaurant or enjoy a picnic by the beach. After a leisurely afternoon, return to Muscat, concluding your coastal adventure.
