Be one of the first visitors of the day to explore Ek Balam, one of the most important places in the Tlalol kingdom. Climb the pyramids to admire a panoramic view of the Mayan jungle at your feet and learn all the secrets of this archaeological site, before spending some free time exploring on your own.

Next, visit one of the seven wonders of the modern world, Chichen Itza. With insights into archaeology and Maya culture, it will be easy for you to imagine how the Maya once lived in this city. As you stroll through the well-preserved ruins, your guide will tell you about Maya mythology, philosophy and cosmology, helping you understand the meaning behind the stone sculptures and platforms.

After admiring the views, you'll be treated to a fantastic Mexican buffet lunch. To end your trip, you'll have a break at Cenote Chichi Kan and get over the heat with a refreshing swim right next to its waterfall.

Meeting point in Playa del Carmen: Plaza Las Perlas at 6:00 am. Pick-up is available from hotels in Cancun (if option selected). After booking, the local operator will contact you using the contact information provided at checkout to arrange the pick-up service. If your hotel is outside the coverage area, an alternative meeting location will be arranged as close as possible to your hotel.

  • For safety reasons, all infants must travel in an approved child restraint system while on the bus. Child safety seats are not provided, so you must bring your own

  • If pick-up is included in your selected option, the local operator will contact you after booking to arrange the pick-up service

  • The hotel pick-up service is available only in Cancun. The exact pick-up time will be confirmed the day before the tour
