Osu Shopping District
It is a huge shopping district in Nagoya which has the key word, Gotta-ni, which means a mixture of many sorts of things. It has approximately 1,200 shops of various kinds of shops like food, cafe, clothing shop and so on. That means, Osu is absolutely enjoyable regardless of age, gender or nationality. Your assistant explain what food is popular in Nagoya and take you some of shops of the food.
Kushi-Hatcho Dote-Hatcho
A shop of miso skewers and tebasaki(chicken wings). Miso is one of features of Nagoya food as you can see it on many things in Nagoya. So is Tebasaki as well. Whenever you come to Nagoya i, Tebasaki is must try to eat.
Ajia-bo(Asiabow)
Osu karaage(Japanese fried chicken) and tapioca drinks shop. It is standard for Osu visiters to get some karaages and tapioca drinks, which you do not probably know. 6 flavours of karaage and 32 kinds of tapioka drinks are available here, surprisingly.
Aoyagi
Uiro shop. Uiro is Nagoya sweets made from rice powder, suger. You can enjoy various flavour of Uiro here, White and Black as regular ones, yuzu(a Japanese citrus fruit), sakura(cherry blossom) or matcha. Besides uiro, some other Nagoya sweets are available here, Kaeru-Manju(frog-figured bun), for example.
Kakien Amakobo
A Japanese sweets cafe. You can have matcha-flavoured soft-served of this shop for free on the tour. The soft-served tastes really matcha and very creamy that you will get amazed. Other than the soft-served, you can get tea things so check them out there.
Osu Kannon Temple
Osu Kannon Temple is one of the three greatest kannon temples in Japan including Sensoji Temple at Asakusa. In the Japan's New Year Holidays, a lot of people come to the temple to do Hatsumode, the first visit to a temple in the year.
